On January 25, 2012, the Dallas Mavericks received their long awaited championship rings. Mark Cuban (in)famously was restricted by the NBA on the amount he could spend per ring.
Subsequently, he was unable to consult with his own players on its finished look until the lockout ended.
Each ring contains 250 diamonds at a grandiose mark of 10 karats and was aided in its creative design by Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, and Dirk Nowitzki. The top of the ring naturally bears the title of ‘World Champions’, with the middle of the ring sporting the Mavericks horse logo surrounded by 31 princess cut diamonds, representing each year in existence.
