We're Back

Don't call it a comeback. Well, you can if you like but we're not here to lay claim to anything. We're just here to tell you that yes, we are in fact back.

For our loyal readers who have been with us since day one, it’s great to see you again. For those of you who are just getting introduced to our small corner of the web, we should go back to 2005, to the birth of independent menswear media and even earlier.

Pre-2005 was a time that saw a new category of media take root. Where niche websites including Beinghunted, Rift Trooper and Crooked Tongues began to surface, helping to fuel the conversations of passionate and creative young men on forums such as Superfuture and Niketalk. Conversations which sparked the creation of sites like Freshness, Hypebeast, Slam X Hype, Highsnobiety and ourselves, who eventually became some of the most trusted voices in today's culture.

These are our roots. They have allowed us to witness firsthand how the industry has evolved and its audience mature, reaching far beyond what anyone could have anticipated. And while we look back on our shared history with a certain pride, we know that we are a long way from the end, if an end even exists.

So here we are in 2012. Same name, same beliefs and the same passion to push the boundaries of our platform and industry. In the months to come we hope you enjoy the new things we have to offer. But more importantly, we look forward to sharing our ideas and embarking on an exciting new journey with you all.
