Just when you thought all good things must come to an end, J. Crew turns up the heat for this year's Fall 2012 collection with some exceptional looks from their recent New York Fashion Week preview.

As always, J. Crew continues to benchmark how fashion classics like Pea Coats and Trench Coats can and should be worn. But this Fall 2012 collection looks to add a hint of textured flair–in both pattern and fabric choices–that we here at Inqmind love so much. By the looks of it, J. Crew will continue to produce the typically clean pieces they've become known for, but this collection opens the door to a much more casual style of dress. One that exudes the nonchalant–"I couldn't care less"–swag so many menswear enthusiasts today are drawn to.

Although J. Crew has gone really far on just the basics, the inclusion of this kind of detailed character makes J.Crew (an already formidable brand) a continued force to be reckoned with.

These were just some of our favourite looks, but there are more pieces that may still peak your interest. Check them all out @ GQ.com.
