Moncler has always been a high-end sportswear brand (almost exclusive to mountain climbing inspired apparel) so I suppose it's not too much of a stretch for them to begin widening their "inspiration net" to cover surfing as well.

The season for high-altitude expeditions is coming to an end, so it's about time for Moncler to get into lighter technical pieces. While I recognize that this lookbook does use wearable pieces to convey a 60's inspired surf theme, I have to wonder about the validity of trying to resurrect the floral Hawaiian print. I think that stone might have been better left un-turned. But that aside, Moncler's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection is as dope as ever.
